Tour description:
The old wholesale market, Grønttorvet, in Valby, which has been a trading place for fruit, vegetables, and flower merchants since 1958, has transformed into a modern neighborhood with budding greenhouses on top of the roofs and lush courtyard gardens. The impressive transformation has been carried out by the FB group. Here, you'll find a mix of family homes, senior residences, student accommodations, cooperative housing, and co-living communities. Life flourishes uniquely on the rooftops and in the beautiful Grønttorvet Park by Plads 23, designed by the architects Lendager Group, who tie the district together. What does it look like, and what are the characteristics of the new neighborhood? We'll walk through Grønttorvet Park, past Lathyrus House, see the Amaryllis and Verbena towers, Belle de Boskopvej, and Paradisæblevej, among other places
