Carlsberg City District is a small area in Vesterbro named after Carlsberg's beer, which was brewed on the premises from 1847 - 2008. The visitor centre Visit Carlsberg and Jacobsen House Brewery, which produces special brews, are still located here.

The new masterplan for Carlsberg City is designed by the architect firm Entasis. 
Entasis won the award for Best Masterplan in 2009. Carlsberg City has already gotten a new S-train station, 20 shops and educational buildings. How do you combine the old iconic Carlsberg buildings with new modern ones and still keep the history and atmosphere of the Carlsberg breweries?
